.Week three of maternity leave...
It's the first day of Mommy on maternity leave with Dad being back at work. Every morning I wake up, step out of bed.... onto dirty diapers. How many you ask? Not the two I remember changing in the middle of the night but four. Where do the other diapers come from? There is only one answer. I'm losing my mind or I guess there could be a second possibility: I'm changing diapers in my sleep. My lack of sleep during my usual hours is making me loopy obviously. As soon as I'm ready for bed Ivy is up and I'm grouch mode. She wants to eat but is full and hates her pacifier. Sometimes walking helps sometimes it doesn't. Welcome to motherhood, again.

DECATUR-- You see those flashing lights, and you've had a couple of drinks. There's an app for that.
No it's not a joke, the "Duey Dialer" wants to help you if you're pulled over for driving under the influence. Nate Leding, the app's VP of Marketing says "We look at it kind of as insurance... Nobody expects to go out dinner have a drink and get pulled over but if it does happen you have a way to protect your rights." When you get pulled over you use the app and it records your conversation tracks your location and sends your contact information to a lawyer near you. And as simple as it is, don't confuse the app's capability to help with it condoning drunk driving. "The duey dialer app does not condone drunk driving we want to make sure people are being responsible" says Ledging. So who is the app for? "The couple who went to dinner and had a drink and then head home, nobody expects to get pulled over but they want to make sure their rights are preserved. This is not going to work for someone who is reckless. It's not a get out of jail free card" This app is another example of how in the digital age, there's an app for everything. Ashley Aviyah tells us about a new app that helps you clean up your past on social media. Check out the app "Clear" on HeyClear.Com
This week's Tuned Into Tech to make sure you never send a text you shouldn't have... There's even an option to keep your phone from texting while you are out drinking! Aired on WAND-tv in Decatur
OMG I've had long discussions about this topic and it's coming alive: Brain Transplants.... The question (different from the article) is who actually is a person that has a brain transplant, even partial? Are you still you, or the person whose brain you have... Our skills and memories live in our brain so if you got those parts of the brain, wouldn't you be that person?
"New brain implants can restore autonomy to damaged minds, but can they settle the question of whether free will exists?"
