Richard and I took the girls to Lincoln Park Zoo for the Zoo Lights this weekend! It was so great I said Hey! I need to do a story on this so everyone can go see how pretty it is! Stay tuned for the video and feature story on Wednesday's Broadcast! Here is what we like about it!
While many of the animals are sleeping, the Holiday Magic begins! Armed with 3D glasses to enhance the experience and make each lampstand into reindeer surprise Zoo Light’s is fun for all ages. Zoo Lights has fields of lights, musically talented evergreens, a winter train ride, and also giant snow globes. One you get hungry or chilly from all the fun, the café is also open, serving up holiday favorites and also dinner time snacks. In each of the animal houses there are different activities, arts and crafts for the kids, cutie clementine giveaways, and the most anticipated event is in the Lion house… Its Santa, here you can take a picture with the Clause. Had a Blast! Zoo Lights is open weekends from 5pm until 9pm. Starting December 17th the event will be nightly until January 2011. Watch the Next Newscast for the full story!
